What’s object oriented programing (OOP)?
Object-oriented is one of many programming paradigms, and it’s actually based on the idea of objects, these objects are data structures that contain data in the form of attributes and methods.
The data is contained in the form of fields; the code that the object contains is divided into methods. That’s the way objects are defined and being told what to do. The object stores this information in them, and later on when you tell them what to do, they have the capabilities do it without the need to redefine their “skills”.

Using a metaphor we will demonstrate how object oriented programming works. you can compare an object to a working person. That say just before the example, that a person named Nikki is our object, Nikki is an employee at a toy store. Let’s imagine that a kid enters the store and the manager (which will be the user) tells Nikki to make a sale. So Nikki approaches the kid, shows him a bunch of toys and helps the kid to make up his mind, she takes into the cashier asks for money, works with the computer system, gives to get a receipt, and wishes him all the best and tells him that she will wish to see them again soon. Look at how many things Nikki did! The manager did not tell her to do all of these things right now, he only told her to go and make a sale. He actually defined these skills when she first came to work for him and she, on the other hand, stored all this information in her. Just as “Nikki” is our objects name, you can choose a name for your objects and if you wanted to do something, you need to declare its name and tell it what to do. When you first start to work with an object, you need to define its methods (with code) so later on, you have the ability to tell it what to do and that it will do it without the need to repeats some of the code.
